Baby girl Olivia was a dream for her New Milford newborn photography session. I am always honored when someone chooses me for their newborn photographer, but even more so now, trusting me to take care of their little one during a pandemic. I don’t take that lightly.

New Milford Newborn Photography
Newborn photography is my passion and I hope it shows in my work. I could photograph newborns every day and still not get enough. Photographing newborns in a pandemic hasn’t been easy. There were many, many months that my studio was completely closed. I was overwhelmed with my own kids being home all the time, working on distance learning, and keeping them occupied.
I took this time off and saw it as a blessing. Spending more time with my kids and having FUN with them. Last summer we would go to the pool every day it wasn’t raining, or we’d be on the lake. On bad weather days we would do puzzles, watch movies, and bake together. My oldest kids learned how to use a scale to weigh ingredients and follow directions to bake all on their own. We had a REALLY fun summer.
I missed the sweet squishy newborns though, and I am so happy to have them back in the studio. I haven’t been photographing them as often as I was before March 2020, as I understand the anxieties that go into living in a pandemic. I do take many precautions, as I am fully vaccinated, and whether we have a mandate or not, I do continue to wear a mask for my studio sessions. All wraps, headbands, outfits, etc are stored in sealed boxes and are cleaned between clients. I have one newborn session a day.

The recommended time to book your newborn photo session is during your pregnancy. I take a limited number of sessions a month so pre-booking will guarantee availability. Now booking Winter and Spring 2023 due dates! Sessions take place 6 – 16 days after birth so it is best to book early and get penciled in. The actual date of the session will be scheduled once your little one arrives.
While the studio is all set up, you can relax while your precious baby is taken care of. I will change diapers, soothe your baby to sleep while I gently pose them.
