Meet Amelia. She is the cutest West Hartford newborn. She was 5.5 weeks when she came to my studio! I am really loving photographing newborns past the typical 2 weeks.
West Hartford Newborn: Amelia 5.5 weeks
Amelia started her session wide awake. However, it didn’t take her long to drift off to sleep. This is one of my favorite images with her eyes wide open.
Baby Yawns
I just love capturing those little newborn yawns.
Mom had brought a strand of pears to use at the session. I just love this close up of Amelia’s hands, holding onto the strands of pearls. Just something so sweet about it. 
I just love this relaxed natural pose. Amelia loved to stretch out and have her hand above her head. 
Newborn Information
Newborn sessions are typically booked during pregnancy. They are held between 6 – 16 days, but as you can see, I’ll gladly photograph older babies. I always follow baby’s cues and don’t force them into positions they are not comfortable in.
