Wow, family sessions are in full swing right now. My busiest October to date. I’m taking a *small* break from editing to catch up on some blog posts. Don’t worry, I’ll be back to editing soon.
I met the D family at the beautiful Southford Falls in Southbury, CT. I was so honored that they drove from Torrington to meet me there so I could photograph their family. Southford falls has beautiful foliage and I love so many areas of the park. Their boys are 15 & 17, so I enjoyed talking with them to find out if they still fought. You know, so I have an idea of what it will be like for my boys 10 years from now. The answer is yes, they do still fight. BUT they are friends too so I was happy to hear that 🙂
The park was super busy, with two wedding parties there too! I think we all did great making sure we weren’t getting in each other’s way and rotating locations.
An update for family sessions: Right now my schedule is packed with family sessions for the remainder of October. I do have some weekday evening availability (starting at 4:30 pm) for anyone that might be interested. October is my busiest time of year and weekend dates starting filling up in July and August!! I do usually announce when fall sessions start to book via my newsletter so if you are interested for next year, go sign up now! I usually don’t send more than one newsletter a month, so I promise I won’t be filling up your email! I send any promotions I might be running via the newsletter, as well as sending out information for when to start booking fall family sessions.
