Chasen & Chayla 31 days | Newtown, CT Newborn photographer

It’s been a long and tiring day, but I couldn’t go to bed without sharing these adorable twins.  I got to photograph them at their home in Newtown, CT. Newborn twins, Chasen and Chayla were born June 22, weighing 4 lbs 14 oz 4 lbs 8 oz.  They get weighed tomorrow, but might be close to 6 lbs!  They are still the tiniest babies I have ever held and my first set of twins I got to photograph as newborns.

Meet baby girl Chayla.  She doesn’t want to miss a thing!

And meet baby boy Chasen.  He is so laid back.

These two just loved to snuggle with each other.  Such a special bond twins have!

Something a little different

I’ve been taking out my macro lens a lot more lately and having a little fun with it.  My boys and I went outside early one morning to play.  Right above their sandbox was this HUGE spider web.  The light was just hitting it and it was beautiful.  Luckily I didn’t see the gigantic spider that this web probably belongs to.  I didn’t have my macro lens with me so I made sure to grab it the next morning and see if I could capture this spider web some more.

That same morning we were playing with bubbles and this has got to be one of my favorite images.

We started a tomato “garden” this summer.  Not so much a garden as they are all sitting on pots on our deck.  The tomatoes have started to grow.  They are going to be so delicious once they ripen!

Last but not least one of my favorite subjects, my oldest son.  He had fallen asleep at the end of our bed.  It’s been quite some time since I’ve gotten photos of him fast asleep and I couldn’t resist.
