I am absolutely in LOVE with this “newborn” session. This was a newborn puppy photo session, or should I say puppies! Five to be exact. I know it sounds crazy, but this session was easier than some of my newborn sessions! The puppies played for a little bit and then the each started laying down and fell asleep. I had MAJOR puppy fever going on! These aren’t just any puppies, they are training to be psychiatric service by The Exceptional Partner in Newtown, CT.

I love everything that The Exceptional Partner is about. “The Exceptional Partner is a non-profit organization that gives teens in Newtown, CT the chance to raise and train psychiatric service dogs for the surrounding towns while also learning about mental illness and compassion towards others.” You can read more about their organization here.

Puppies and babies
Ok, maybe she’s not a baby anymore, but she’ll always be my baby. At the end of the newborn puppy photo session, I let my daughter come meet the puppies. The puppies loved her and she loved the puppies. I might have asked my husband about a puppy. Seriously, how cute are these!? Please ignore her messy hair. She might have been in her pajamas and I quickly found something in my studio to change her into and ran my fingers through her hair.
Puppy Love
There is seriously nothing cuter than five adorable lab puppies. I just loved having them in my studio. It was so much fun and oh so hilarious with 5 puppies running all around. One escaped my barrier and we found him going down the hallway. He was ready to explore! There were 3 of us there wrangling the puppies. I should have set up a video camera somewhere!
