Sweet Evan visited my newborn studio when he was just 8 days new. Just over a month prior I had visited his mom, dad, and big brother at their home in Oxford for their maternity session. I think Evan looks so much like his big brother John, who I also photographed as a newborn. While Evan was being photographed, John watched TV and played with some toys. He also loved to see what was going on and would come visit me to get a close peek at his brother. Evan was awake for a little bit in the beginning of the session, but then fell asleep when his belly was full. He was a very hungry baby boy!

I love when parents take a few images with their newborn child. It’s just so sweet and I’m sure they’ll cherish them, especially later on. The time where you can hold your child like this does not last long! On another note, I am loving the background color. It’s actually one of the walls in my studio. I need to use it more often, especially with newborn and parent images! Isn’t it stunning?
We used tan, aqua, and white/cream for Evan’s newborn session. I also put some pops of orange in there like his room has.
