I was so happy to hear that Laura was expecting her second baby boy! I was able to document her first pregnancy last year and then meet her baby John during his newborn session. John turned one and I got to see him again for his cake smash. I am always so honored when I am chosen to document such important events and watch my families grow. Laura and Mike are such naturals in front of the camera. They just knew what to do and I love their interactions. We started off taking photos in the nursery.
We also went outside. John was happy to be outside and we were able to get a family portrait too!
We went back inside to do one more outfit change and a couple more images. In the front of their house was a gorgeous window with a grandfather clock. I thought it was the perfect spot to take our last images. These are some of my favorite images from the session!
