This was my second year doing Holiday Mini Sessions in CT. This year they were held at my Newtown photography studio. They were for kids of all ages and we had so much fun! I hosted two dates the beginning of November. If there’s enough interest, I might be able to squeeze in another date. The holidays are quickly approaching, so if you are interested send an email.

Themes
I decided to have a neutral backdrop with twinkle lights in the background. I (um… my husband) created the wood floor just a couple days before the first round of mini sessions. We went to Home Depot for the wood and painted it the same color of my studio wall! I took some behind the scenes images that I’m hoping to post at some later time. I love the way everything turned out! Because of the simple backdrop, it went well with wearing holiday outfits or even pajamas. We had some santa hats, reindeer antlers, and a lot of beautiful holiday outfits.
Props
I didn’t want to go too crazy with props. Keeping it simple, with the neutral background. I found a cute little sled (that I’m hoping to get a newborn on) which was really cute with the little ones sitting on. I also used my stool (which was newly painted) and a white crate. I almost forgot about my new green crate that Hadley fit perfectly in!
